Workplace Ambassador-JLL

What this job involves:

As a Workplace Ambassador at JLL, you'll be the embodiment of hospitality-driven excellence, creating workplace experiences that will be long remembered by employees, guests, and visitors alike. This role seamlessly blends the warmth of reception services with the proactive support of workplace operations, ensuring every touchpoint-from arrival through departure-reflects our commitment to superior service. We're collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients by delivering experiences that go beyond expectations. You'll serve as a trusted partner to Workplace, Facilities, and service teams, maintaining environments that are welcoming, organized, and efficient. Your ability to anticipate needs, respond with grace under pressure, and deliver consistent service across multiple responsibilities will define the daily experience for everyone in the building.

What your day-to-day will look like:

* Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner

* Manage the check-in, security badging, and wayfinding process in accordance with site protocols

* Maintain a polished presence at the front desk and ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable

* Respond to and direct incoming calls, emails, messages, and general inquiries

* Provide scheduled and ad-hoc coverage for reception team members during breaks or approved time off

* Conduct regular walkthroughs of assigned floors, ensuring all workplace areas are stocked, orderly, and aligned with service standards

* Restock supplies including pantry items, snacks, copier stations, and general materials

* Support light room resets to prepare meeting and conference spaces for upcoming use

* Submit work orders and communicate maintenance, cleaning, or technical issues to the appropriate teams

* Assist with routine operational tasks to ensure consistent daily service delivery across the site

* Organize and distribute incoming packages and mail in a timely and accurate manner

* Create shipping labels and assist with outgoing mail and courier coordination

* Maintain organized package storage areas and ensure proper tracking procedures are followed

* Partner closely with the Mailroom Supervisor to support daily operations and service standards

* Anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions to employees and guests

* Communicate clearly and professionally through verbal and written channels

* Follow established standards of service and contribute to a positive, hospitality-focused workplace culture

* Support meeting and event needs as directed

Required qualifications:

* Highschool Diploma or equivalent

* 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, workplace services, or office support

* Demonstrated ability to engage with employees and guests in a friendly, confident, and professional manner

* Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage shifting daily priorities

* Ability to lift 15-30 lbs for routine stocking and support tasks

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience in admin roles

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic workplace systems

* Background in hospitality or front-of-house operations within professional office settings

Schedule: M-F

Location: New York,NY

Estimated compensation for this position:

54,000.00 - 60,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
