What this job involves:

Lead strategic occupancy excellence as the Occupancy Planning & Management (OPM) Manager with JLL. In this role, you'll direct the OPM team supporting a technology client, deliver occupancy planning services, and act as a trusted advisor. You'll implement best practices, leverage industry expertise, and provide thought leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery. Building and maintaining critical relationships will be key to ensure coordination among JLL businesses. Your expertise in team leadership, occupancy solutions, and stakeholder management will directly impact service excellence and client satisfaction.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Client Advisory & Relationship Management:Serve as trusted advisor to both client and account team demonstrating superior client relationship management and strategic thinking while acting as occupancy planning expert with business acumen
  • Stakeholder Management Excellence:Build and maintain critical relationships between various individuals and organizations leveraging superior stakeholder management abilities ensuring coordination and collaboration among JLL businesses managing competing priorities with diplomacy
  • Communication & Engagement:Excel in verbal and non-verbal communication through exceptional writing, listening, and visual skills while engaging effectively with leadership at all levels and conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Team Leadership & Direction:Direct the OPM team supporting technology client while structuring, staffing, and managing diverse teams ensuring clear expectations, timely execution, and successful outcomes through proven people management capabilities
  • Strategic Occupancy Solutions:Focus on developing occupancy plans, sequencing moves, and resolving planning issues to maximize space utilization and align with client goals while recommending space policies and collaborating with Leadership on site strategies
  • Technical Excellence & Data Analysis:Utilize critical thinking skills to convey compelling stories through data analysis using traditional analytics and AI tools with Excel mastery including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and complex calculations
  • Innovation & Best Practices:Implement best practices leveraging industry expertise and thought leadership while harnessing generative AI tools to streamline research and improve deliverables by exercising critical thinking as productivity enhancers

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership track record with exceptional communication and active listening skills, ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and drive initiatives through persuasive presentations
  • Commercial and financial astuteness with deep understanding of corporate real estate dynamics and market forces demonstrating strategic mindset focused on transformation and execution
  • Strategic mindset focused on transformation and execution with ability to make timely, risk-informed decisions while embracing change, taking calculated risks, and innovating
  • Strong relationship-building skills with ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels, building and maintaining critical relationships through superior stakeholder management

  • Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills including presentation and active listening abilities with capability to engage effectively with leadership at all levels

  • Structured approach to complex problem analysis, strategic planning, and tactical execution with process-oriented mindset focused on sustainable change and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Real Estate, or related field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in corporate real estate occupancy planning with deep understanding of workplace strategy, space optimization methodologies, and portfolio management principles
  • Background supporting technology sector clients with understanding of dynamic growth patterns, flexible workplace strategies, and innovation-driven real estate requirements
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI), advanced statistical analysis, or generative AI tools that enhance data-driven decision-making and strategic insights
  • Deep knowledge of occupancy planning platforms (Archibus, FM Systems, Serraview) with experience implementing or optimizing CAFM systems for enterprise-scale operations

Estimated compensation for this position:

150,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
