Medical Assistant Chevy Chase MD Pay From: $21 MUST: Experienced Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience as a medical assistant Certified or Registered. If not willing to become so and must have a Medical Assistant Diploma Strong clinical and medical terminology knowledge Comfortable working non clinical role in Electronic Medical Records Downloading labs, reports, consult notes and uploading to patient's electronic medical records Strong medical terminology knowledge Ability to review reports and labs Assisting with care coordination Ensuring all labs and documentation has been updated in patients medical records Taking detailed phone messages Stocking and cleaning exams rooms Maintaining logs of equipment and medication Strong medical terminology knowledge Administering EKG's, obtaining vitals, assisting with exams and procedurres DUTIES: The Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Review labs, imaging reports, consult notes and referrals and match up to patients Upload documentation to patient's medical records Provide customer service support Enter referrals Assist with clinical duties as needed includuding rooming patients, obtaining vitals, administering injections and EKG's Ensure all related reports, labs and information is updated and available in patient's medical records Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
