VMware Virtualization Engineer & PowerFlex (Dell) Ft. Belvoir, VA Pay From: $75.00 per hour MUST: Experienced VMWare Virtualization & PowerFlex Engineer Active TS/SCI clearance 5+ years supporting VMware enterprise environments Hands-on experience with Dell PowerFlex Strong knowledge of ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and virtualization networking Experience in classified or secure federal environments Familiarity with STIGs, RMF, and security compliance frameworks Preferred Qualifications VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience Dell HCI certifications Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform) ATO/RMF participation experience DUTIES: VMware Virtualization & PowerFlex Engineer will support mission-critical systems by designing, maintaining, and optimizing secure, high-availability virtualized infrastructure. This role focuses on Dell PowerFlex, VMware platforms, and DoD-compliant environments supporting sensitive operations. Design, deploy, and maintain Dell PowerFlex and VMware virtualization platforms (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, VCF) Perform system upgrades, lifecycle management, and performance optimization Support secure environments in compliance with STIG, NIST, and FedRAMP standards Manage storage, compute, and network integration within HCI environments Implement disaster recovery, backup, and failover solutions Monitor capacity, availability, and system health using enterprise tools Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and lead root cause analysis Support Authority to Operate (ATO) and continuous monitoring activities Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and application teams Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and system diagrams Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
