Medical Assistant Wheaton, MD Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: 2+ years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant Experience working in a high volume multi physician private medical practice Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Assisting with exams and procedures Calling in and processing prescriptions Experience triaging patients and reviewing lab results Experience documenting detailed information in EPIC EMR systems DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Room patients Prepare patients for examinations Obtain vital signs and medical histories Document and update patient information in in EPIC EMR Triage patients and review lab results over the phone Assist physicians with exams and procedures Write orders for tests Assist with scheduling appointments Call in prescriptions Maintain and stock supplies for exam rooms Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
