The Market Development Manager will serve as a key resource to lead patient/consumer marketing efforts for Interventional Urology (IU). This position is responsible for aligning to the strategic direction of the IU Market Development team with execution and implementation of market development strategies and tactics to accelerate growth for the IU product portfolios. This includes development of programs and initiatives that educate patients and health care practitioners on the therapies in Interventional Urology.

Major Areas of Accountability



  • Manages assigned market development initiatives including: patient/consumer marketing plans, marketing/educational content, budgets, and ongoing promotion campaigns
  • Understands the patient decision making process and journey to inform strategy and identify opportunities for better education.
  • Collaborate with other marketers to ensure messaging alignment, share data and campaign results, and leverage synergies across the Interventional Urology business to ensure best practices and best-in-class patient marketing.
  • Coordinates with internal partners and external vendors to execute omnichannel patient awareness and conversion programs
  • Works with appropriate functional areas to establish performance metrics and plans for ongoing optimization of programs.
  • Identifies additional market opportunities for category growth and expansion, leveraging market research and voice of customer to assess market opportunities and trends
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills related to interfacing and establishing relationships with customers and key influencers to ensure that marketing decisions are customer-driven
  • Leverages field experience to provide feedback for continuous system improvement

Basic Qualifications



  • BA/BS required with business or marketing emphasis. MBA preferred
  • 3+ years relevant experience related to medical device/ health care
  • Experience marketing to patients
  • Prior experience in medical devices and urology is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills and professional image essential, with strong verbal and written skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Competitive Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or incentives.
