Endoscopy Technician - Gastro Woodbridge, VA Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: The Endoscopy Technician must have experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in a medical office Experience as an Endoscopy Technician is a must Providing clinical support to providers as needed Bagging pathology Processing specimens Cleaning scopes Rooming patients and obtaining vitals Assisting providers as required Cleaning beds Experience cleaning and disinfecting equipment Maintaining daily equipment log Providing patient education Documenting and updating patient High School Diploma DUTIES: The duties of the Endoscopy Technician-Medical Assistant include but are not limited to the following: Assisting providers with procedures Clean beds Assist with recovery of patients Maintain equipment and supplies Clean and disinfect endoscopy equipment/scopes Maintain daily equipment log Bag and process specimens Provide support to patients before, during, and after procedures Maintain and complete records Assists nurse with patient flow Review discharge instructions with patients Clean beds Assist with procedures including collecting specimens Participate in infection control programs Perform any other tasks as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
