You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link:https://jhhs.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Summary: The Paralegal directly supports attorneys and Practice Group Leaders within Johns Hopkins Health System Legal Services by gathering, reviewing, editing, drafting, and organizing a wide range of legal documents and files. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and editing both routine and complex agreements, including consulting agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and amendments and addenda to existing contracts. A key focus of the position is supporting technology-related agreements such as software licensing arrangements and SaaS contracts. The Paralegal also conducts research related to corporate transactions to ensure all information is accurate, complete, and properly documented, and prepares clear, concise reports and summaries for leadership within established timeframes Education: Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field is required. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. In lieu of an associate's degree, a paralegal certificate is required. Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training: Paralegal Certificate is required if Associate's Degree is not obtained. Work Experience: A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience. Salary Range: Minimum 26.51/hour - Maximum 43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
