Registered Nurse - PACU Pre-Op Manassas, VA Pay From: $40 Per Hour MUST: The Pre-Op Registered Nurse should have the following: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia Ambulatory experience Pre-Op experience Providing Post Op Care Comfortable starting and administering IV's Experience updating patients charts using EMR Strong attention to detail and proactive Providing patient education Monitoring and assessing patients Discussing pre -op instructions, procedures and medical histories PACU experience BLS and ACLS Certified DUTIES: The PACU -Pre-OP Registered Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following: Initiate and administer IV's Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments Provide patient education on surgical procedures Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Provide pre- and post-surgery care to patients Assist providers as needed Prepare equipment and assist physician during examination and treatment of patients Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
