(LVN) Licensed Vocational Nurse -Infusion Pharmacy - 139758

Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in the assigned department, performs a wide variety of patient care activities in support of clinic activity. This includes prioritizing and assisting with patient triage; processing, preparing, and assisting with patient examinations; administering medications; drawing blood; collecting and preparing laboratory tests; providing patient education; and performing venipuncture and IV access. Position requires initiative, the ability to prioritize critical demands, and the ability to work in a team environment. Other related duties as assigned.

• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - issued by the state of California.
• Certification in Intravenous Therapy issued by the state of California (LVN IV).
• BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
• A minimum of two (2) years of recent LVN experience in direct patient care or a similar setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong care coordination and scheduling skills, able to balance multiple priorities while ensuring timely and accurate workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively across care teams.
• Proficient with computer systems and applications.
• Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.

• Knowledge of Epic and Caretend software.

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. hours which may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call, and some overtime, if necessary, for unexpected staffing issues.
