Endoscopy Technician - Medical Assistant Hyattsville, MD Pay From: $23 per hour MUST: The experienced Endoscopy Technician will have experience: Experienced GI Technician 2 plus years of surgical experience Must have endoscopy experience MUST have BLS cert Administer IVs Assist docs with GI procedures Clean and sterilize equipment DUTIES: The Endoscopy Technician or Medical Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Assist licensed physicians and nurses in treating patients with gastrointestinal disorders. Performs direct patient care activities under a physician's supervision. Assists with medical procedures, the technician ensures that all equipment is functioning properly before use. He or she must be familiar with rules, standards, practices, and procedures and must hold excellent experience and sound judgment to accomplish the goals of the procedure Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
