Job Responsibilities: This position will work with both the Florida Enterprise ("FE") Practice Group and the Clinical Affairs Practice Group. The Florida Enterprise Practice Group provides strategic advice and counsel to senior and operations leaders on a range of business issues related to the Johns Hopkins Health System's health care facilities and activities in Florida. These include a specialty-licensed free-standing children's hospital (Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital), an employed pediatric physician group that includes subspecialists, a children's medical research institute, and a clinically integrated pediatric network. The Clinical Affairs Practice Group provides legal advice regarding clinical risk, adverse events, patient care issues, patient and regulatory complaints, bioethical issues, guardianships, and medical staff issues. In addition, it provides legal and risk management education for faculty and staff, policy review and revision for legal and risk management implications, medical staff bylaws review and revisions and consultation with leadership on hospital clinical and medical staff risk issues. Salary Range: $165,000 to $195,000 per year. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
