Medical Receptionist - Patient Care Coordinator Reston, VA Pay From: $21 per hour MUST: The Patient Care Coordinator must have experience: 2 plus years of medical office experience Bachelor's Degree required Strong customer service skills Experience with electronic scheduling Checking patients in and out Calling patients back as needed Verifying insurance coverage as needed Strong documentation skills in EMR Excellent communication skills DUTIES: Checking patients in and out Scheduling and confirming patient appointments Assisting with administrative projects as needed Collecting co-payments and any prior balances from patients. Entering demographics and notes into the EMR system Providing a welcoming environment to patients in person or on the telephone.
