Business Analyst REMOTE Pay From: $40/hr MUST Business Analyst Active HHS (or NIH, CDC, FDA) Public Trust Preferred Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), or equivalent certification. Minimum five (5) years of experience supporting business analysis, requirements management, or systems analysis activities. Experience supporting Agile software development projects and iterative delivery methodologies. Experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and business requirements documentation. Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements discussions. Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and requirements validation activities. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Desired Qualifications Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, or enterprise business applications. Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint. Experience supporting federal government or regulated environments. Experience with business process improvement and workflow automation initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, Computer Science, or related field. DUTIES The Business Analyst II serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Agile delivery team. Working approximately 8 to 10 hours per week, the Business Analyst supports requirements management, backlog refinement, business process analysis, user acceptance testing, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and sprint planning activities. The position ensures business needs are accurately translated into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work items that support application operations, maintenance, and enhancement objectives. Requirements Management and Analysis Backlog and Agile Delivery Support Business Process Analysis; Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and operational procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains. Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, use cases, and business models. Evaluate the impact of proposed system changes on business operations and users. Support development of future-state workflows and operational procedures.
