This position is responsible for leading Renown Health's Outpatient Pulmonary, Outpatient Sleep Medicine and South Meadows Pulmonary/Critical Care Lines that focuses on the continuum of care from wellness to end of life. The role will be instrumental in developing a patient centered approach that will drive practices, strategies, and performance of the Pulmonary Service Line within the CIHN. This role serves as a leader of the provider reporting structure for the pulmonologists, sleep physicians, advanced practice clinicians and South Meadows Pulmonary/Critical Care providers, and will be required to work with administrative and physician leadership to drive performance including but not limited to patient experience, clinical outcomes, utilization, transformational healthcare, and financial outcomes. As part of Renown Health's CIHN, the Division Chief is responsible for the leadership of clinical staff and support staff in the Pulmonary Service Line. The role will facilitate initiatives that fall in line with the CIHN strategies for the Pulmonary Service Line. This role will drive pulmonary clinical integration initiatives within the practice and coordinate throughout the Integrated Health Network for the items including but not limited to Accountable Care, Medical Home Privation Order Sets & Pathways. This position will be responsible for educating providers around key initiatives and strategies for the CIHN as they relate to the Pulmonary Service Line. This position will work directly with the Administrator of Specialty Services to create a premier Pulmonary Service Line for Renown Health and the community. This role addresses disruptive Provider behavior from a Renown Health and organized medical staff perspective. This position does provide direct patient care.
