Reporting to the Assistant Director of Purchasing and 340B Management, the Inventory Manager is responsible for staff education and supervision regarding inventory management within the retail pharmacies. The Inventory Technicians report to the Inventory Manager. In addition, this position will be responsible for overseeing adherance to inventory policies and procedures, implementing cost savings initiatives, optimizing inventory levels and Parata usage, and assisting with 340B management.

Minimum Requirements

Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care or Business related field required
  • Masters degree preferred


Experience



  • Minimum of five (5) years retail pharmacy experience and three (3) years of inventory management experience
  • Managerial or Supervisor experience preferred


Licensure/Certification



  • Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy Preferred
  • Completion of 340B University (post-hire)


Knowledge



  • Understanding of the 340B drug discount program
  • Drug trends including pricing, brand to generic changes and management of supply shortages
  • Pharmacy workflow
  • Inventory management policies and procedures

Salary Range: Minimum $31.94/hour - Maximum $57.94/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
