Coordinates, manages, and executes academic, clinical, and assessment operations for the College of Nursing across Omaha and Phoenix campuses, supporting undergraduate (traditional and ABSN), graduate, and paramedicine programs. Serves as a key operational resource for academic support processes, including clinical/practicum systems, evaluation workflows, survey administration, and academic data management. Provides comprehensive administrative and technical support to faculty, staff, students, and clinical partners by maintaining and troubleshooting multiple systems, managing high-volume and time-sensitive processes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across programs. Oversees system setup and maintenance for course evaluations, preceptor assignments, student portfolios, and clinical scheduling, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to address operational needs and resolve issues. Functions as a cross-functional generalist within the Academic Support Team, adapting to cyclical and daily priorities and contributing to continuous process improvement, while demonstrating a commitment to Creighton University's mission and Jesuit values in support of educating future nurses.

Essential Functions:



  • Coordinates and supports the College of Nursing's academic, assessment, and evaluation processes in alignment with curriculum timelines, assessment cycles, and data systems in collaboration with leadership. Manages communication of updates, requirements, and operational needs across internal and external stakeholders, and provides support for practicum activities, student and faculty processes, and system-based requirements across traditional, ABSN, and graduate programs.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for faculty, staff, and students to provide guidance, resolve inquiries, and support the effective use of multiple College of Nursing systems, delivering direct assistance within the scope of the role and coordinating solutions to meet operational needs.
  • Prepares, maintains, and updates academic support documentation, including procedures, policies, and training materials, ensuring accessible and accurate guidance for faculty, staff, students, and preceptors and supporting consistent processes across College of Nursing systems and operations.
  • Digital signage support.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; may consider combination of other work/education experiences.
  • Four years administrative experience.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Proficiency with Windows PC, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), browser-based applications, content management systems, and electronic file management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong customer service focus on internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate seamlessly between multiple systems and computer applications.
  • Ability to compile data and generate reports.
  • Ability to make procedural decisions based on scope of position.
  • Ability to train stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in diverse communities.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands, in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-awareness of personal training needs: ability to locate available training materials, learn from materials, and use the training in day-to-day work environment.
  • Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. normally but some availability off hours due to Phoenix campus time difference.
