This is a full time remote role. Applicants residing in MD, VA, DC, PA, DE and FL will be given first consideration.

Position Summary:

Supports the analysis, optimization, and implementation of revenue cycle operations through data-driven insights, project coordination, and system support. Performs complex analyses across key areas which may include revenue performance, underpayments, payer contracts, budgets, and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Partners with revenue cycle, finance, and IT stakeholders to support system implementations, enhancements, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI tools), ensuring alignment with operational workflows and organizational goals. Contributes to the planning and execution of projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and financial outcomes.

Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytical models to monitor performance and support decision-making. Translates data into actionable insights and recommendations, assisting leadership in addressing operational challenges and optimizing revenue cycle performance.

This role requires strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational support.



  • Performs complex analyses of revenue cycle data, including revenue performance, underpayments, denials, payer trends, and operational metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and analytical models to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Supports evaluation of payer contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and payment variances to ensure accurate revenue capture.
  • Partners with revenue cycle, finance, and operational teams to provide insights and recommendations that improve financial and operational outcomes.
  • Assists with system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, including testing, validation, and workflow optimization
  • Participates in project planning and execution, tracking progress, identifying issues, and supporting timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Investigates and resolves data discrepancies, reporting issues, and operational variances impacting revenue cycle performance
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and supports ongoing performance improvement efforts across revenue cycle functions.
  • Documents processes, reporting logic, and standard work to ensure consistency, accuracy, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue cycle.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and organizational policies in all analyses and reporting.


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or a related field (Required)

One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Work Experience:

2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management (Required)



Salary Range: Minimum 26.51/hour - Maximum 43.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
