Job Details: The Registered Nurse Lactation Consultant at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is a vital member of the Labor & Delivery team, providing expert lactation care and education to mothers and their newborns throughout the perinatal stay. In this role, you will assess breastfeeding needs, develop individualized feeding plans, and provide hands-on breastfeeding and breast pump support to promote successful infant feeding. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team, you will educate patients, families, and staff on evidence-based lactation practices, conduct daily lactation rounds, and serve as a compassionate advocate for breastfeeding while supporting each family's unique feeding goals. Salary Range: Minimum 43.61/hour - Maximum 67.59/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
