Current Red Hat certification (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA) required

10+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX systems and interoperability with Windows.

Current Red Hat certification (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA).

Strong scripting skills in BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.

Experience with Ansible, RHEL Satellite, and other automation tools.

Experience with Configure and manage NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, ISC2 BIND DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Postfix/SMTP Relay.

Familiarity with Mirantis Container Runtime, AWS, and GitLab.

Excellent problem solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Seeking Systems Administrator - Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) to support a mission-critical federal program.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux environments.

Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server environments (v8v9).

Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.

Perform administration and O&M tasks from the command line.

Manage task automation using tools like Ansible and RHEL Satellite.

Handle package management across geographically dispersed environments.

Configure and manage NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, ISC2 BIND DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Postfix/SMTP Relay.

Administer Linux Server Clustering, NFSv3/NFSv4, PXE boot, and SELinux.

Support Mirantis Container Runtime (formerly Docker), AWS, and GitLab.

Maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.

Lead and mentor junior team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.

Ensure compliance with security hardening standards (CIS, NIST SP 80053 Rev. 5, DISA STIGs).

On-call Requirement: Participation in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation
