Position Overview
Responsibilities 1) Follows all safety, quality, and production procedures. 2) Teamwork effort and involvement to meet all production goals. 3) Pump glue in the machine and adjust the roller for the proper coverage. 4) Fluff labels and set label equipment. Load labels onto the machine 5) Review stock and raw materials and check the MacOps screen in KIWI. Check the attachments: print card and die cut diagram (if applicable). 6) Check raw materials per job instructions, including incoming sheets, inks, and tooling. Notify the supervisor if any materials need to be in specification. 7) Verify and ensure die cuts/print plates are in good shape before and after running. 8) Set up needed equipment and machines. Runs tests to ensure parts meet MacOps specs and foldability. Make necessary adjustments. 9) Runs order and verifies quality throughout the run and overall quality of the units. Also, ensures that the hand-stacked units meet all requirements. 10) Perform quality check on glue adhesion and any other customer-specific quality checks/scans 11) Enters data on MacOps and QCS icons on every order. Notifies supervisor if the first run is present. 12) Applies appropriate WIP or load tags, inspects and removes miscellaneous scrap, and sends to the bander. 13) Ensures line clearance functions have been performed before the start-up of the next order. 14) Maintain a clean and safe work environment through a "clean as you go attitude." 15)Additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Ability to meet the job requirements with or without accommodation. To foster and cultivate a positive attitude and work environment. Accurately read a measuring tape and ruler. Use basic shop math. Learn and follow instructions. Work effectively as a team member.
