Description
Position Overview
This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work, prioritize their workload, and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands. Overtime including weekends may be available.
Responsibilities * Work safely and follow all related safety policies and programs
* Accurately report time, production, and material usage * Set up the machine, including preparing materials and retrieving paper from storage * Enter job and production information into the computer, including measurements * Report irregularities, maintenance needs, and quality issues to the Team Operations Manager * Assist the crew with running, changing over, starting up, and cleaning up the machine * Check raw materials on hand to prevent shortages during production runs * Use a ruler to verify material dimensions for quality assurance * Troubleshoot machine issues and recommend process improvements * Keep the work area clean and organized * Perform other job tasks and projects as assigned Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required
