Work directly with suppliers to satisfy Honeywell's quality standards and strategy in the manufacture of components. You will interact with all levels of supplier management. As Honeywell's point of contact within the supply base, you will support transition and supplier development activities within your assigned geographical area. In support of a variety of supplier oversight functions, spending a majority of your time at supplier facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor
and measure processes and product against policies, objectives and requirements throughout the entire plant. - Perform internal audits at planned intervals to determine if the quality
system meets the requirements of the ISO 9000. - International Standard.
- Take corrective actions to eliminate non-conformities and their recurrence.
- Perform Effectiveness Review Audits to determine closure of non-conformances
and the preventative actions needed to prevent re-occurrence. - Determine the effectiveness of customer communication.
- Measure the improvement and processes needed to demonstrate product quality.
- Assist the QA Manager with the implementation of the ISO 9000 processes as
defined by BSI standards for plant. - Maintain and update Quality Manuals.
- Maintain and update all ISO 9000 analytical procedures.
- Update quality laboratory procedures and calibration manuals.
- Maintain and update laboratory document control.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Associates Degree
- 3 + years Quality Inspector / NDT
(non-destruct test technician) in manufacturing organization
WE VALUE
- A
minimum 5 years industrial auditing. - Certified ISO9001 Internal Auditor preferred, Internal Auditing experience.
- High degree of familiarity with Quality Management Systems in industry.
- Ability to work within a team environment with multiple departments to
accomplish a common goal. - Ability to work independently on assigned audits and tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external customers.
- Good leadership skills.
- Attention to detail a must.
