Are you ready to help us make the future? This position requires determining the effects of radiation environments on various components and systems. Radiation test data will be collected and used to verify component behavior in a variety of radiation environments. Tasks include analyzing and interpreting test data and leading and/or participating on teams that resolve technical issues. This position requires close interface with radiation effects systems engineers and designers to assure proper component selections are made. Relocation available. Key Responsibilities * Plan, develop and execute radiation tests on electrical components and systems * Design and develop component test hardware/software for various radiation environments * Develop radiation characterization and radiation lot acceptance test plans * Analyze and interpret radiation test data * Develop and execute detailed test schedules * Prepare radiation test reports * Prepare and present radiation results and achieve customer approvals * Provide work direction and support for other engineers and technicians * Experience working in radiation environments, radiation facilities, and dosimetry systems to include prompt dose, total dose, neutron, proton and heavy ion YOU MUST HAVE * Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering * 2+ years in components and radiation effects * Due to ITAR, must be a US citizen WE VALUE * Security Clearance preferred * Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle * Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts * Diverse and global teaming and collaboration * Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done * Ability to adapt dictated by project changes * Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of complicated tasks * An understanding of data structures to provide analytical problem solving ESCLW0609 Additional Information
