The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Vice President, Youth Market within our Western States Region. This is a home/field based position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel within assigned territory, which may involve overnight stays and/or weekends. This position requires the ability to travel within assigned territory and travel outside territory to attend indoor/outdoor event-related activities, training sessions, and/or meetings/conferences, which may involve overnight stays and/or weekends. The noise level in the work environment varies and regularly includes presentations to large groups of youth and teen participants. The Vice President, Youth Market is responsible for leading the operational planning and execution of the AHA's Youth Market programs for the Western States region with the principal responsibility of securely positioning the region for aggressive growth in unrestricted revenue on an increasing and sustainable basis. This includes managing an assigned team of Youth Market staff covering multiple territories, ensuring the understanding and execution of fundraising strategies and tactics to build volunteer leadership engagement, participant income and sponsorship through Kids Heart Challenge as well as collaborative opportunities across revenue streams.
