Job Description: As a Senior Associate, Employee Relations, you will play an integral role in the enhancement and scaling of Employee Relations (ER) capability and will work to execute and manage a streamlined ER function within your specified DC location. Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager (ERM), you will partner with local HR leaders to oversee key ER and compliance initiatives aligned to the broader organizational strategy, and work as a trusted advisor providing support and guidance to leaders of all levels. You will serve as the ER subject matter expert in your site and in partnership with your ERM and the broader team will help support over 10,000 associates while working closely with your leadership team to implement a long term strategy for elevating the ER function and capabilities across the organization. You will:
- Leverage resources and actively collaborate with HR Leadership and Legal partners to ensure the applicable policies, trainings and risk mitigation strategies are in place to support our company mission and values
- Conduct thorough in person investigations into employee concerns, some involving complex, high risk investigations including but not limited to allegations of harassment, workplace violence, discrimination, retaliation, employee misconduct and provide recommended actions based on findings
- Supervise the progress and completion of all corrective actions flowing from internal investigations, including the development and management of an appropriate tracking tool
- Manage and conduct investigations involving employees on site
- Respond to internal employee hotline & workflow concerns in partnership with the ERM and local HR leadership
- Serve as a consultative partner and resource to the HR Business Partner on complex employment situations such as terminations, corrective actions and accommodations
- Conduct ER risk & compliance assessments for your location, and work with your ERM to implement proactive site specific risk mitigation strategies in partnership with field HR Business Partners
- Partner with HR Business Partners to oversee implementation of action plans stemming from investigation trends, compliance opportunities and employee engagement surveys in support of enhancing our overall employee engagement and value proposition
- Proactively identify opportunities for elevation of the ER function and take appropriate partners to implement processes that mitigate risk and improve the employee experience

You have:
- Bachelor's degree, Master's and/or HR Certifications preferred, equivalent specialized HR/Employee Relations experience considered
- Minimum 3+ years of HR Employee Relations specialized experience preferably in a field operations or distribution environment
- Experience working in an HR and/or ER function with an hourly workforce
- Strong knowledge and experience with federal, state and local employment laws including, but not limited to Title VII, ADEA, FLSA
- Proven investigation experience including interviewing of witnesses, taking notes, and writing investigation summaries
- Ability to develop processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with leaders of all levels
- High level of comfort working autonomously and recommending strategic changes
- Ability to support rollout of a proactive employee and labor relations strategy focused on building leadership skills to promote employee engagement
- Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Required in person role with intermittent travel to other field locations as needed
- Bilingual or Multilingual verbal communication skills desired
