Position Summary

This role is solution driven and focuses the on providing insight from every business unit's perspective. This role is critical in helping turn insight into action that enables the business to improve the customer experience, retain customers and drive revenue.

Day-to-day work for this role involves gathering information, assembling spreadsheets, writing reports and developing opinions based on financial analysis.



Responsibilities

    Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and provide analysis of trends and forecasts.
  • Evaluate and report on company's financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecasts.
  • Enhance processes and reporting, recommend, and implement procedures to resolve data quality issues and ensure consistency across business units and reporting systems.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Develop and automate financial and operating reports
  • Partner with department managers to monitor rolling forecast as the year progresses to address any revenue shortfalls or cost overruns.
  • Analyzes impact of proposed solution across the business and develops use cases to demonstrate the business requirements to the Enterprise Apps Team.
  • Demonstrates commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A and corporate finance in complex and sophisticated organizations
  • Experienced in using data-mining tools, business intelligence software, financial system applications.
  • Expert level in the use of Excel
  • Competency in data query/data management tools is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely to various internal and external constituencies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and willingness to learn new areas of business operations.
