Shift - 12-hour Day Shifts Full-time

Nelson 8

The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 8 is a 23-bed medical floor, with capacity for 10 patients requiring telemetry. Staff on the unit care for a mix of complex medical patients, including pulmonary, endocrine, GI, renal, cardiac, and neuro. On the unit, you will gain experience with continuous drips & IV titrations for antiarrhythmics, dopamine, nitroglycerin, heparin, and PCA pumps. The unit is very supportive of new staff.

Requirements:




  • Diploma from accredited LPN Program
  • Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire
  • Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire
