Position overview Position title: Neurosurgeon Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $214,700 - $536,200. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. Qualifications Basic qualifications (required at time of application) Candidates must have a MD or equivalent and must be Board certified/eligible in Neurological Surgery. Candidates must have completed or be currently pursuing subspecialty fellowship training in Functional/Movement Disorders, Neuro-Interventional, or Spine Neurosurgery. Candidates must also be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Additional qualifications (required at time of start) Candidates must have a California Fluoroscopy License by the start of the appointment.
