Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager:



  • Responsible for Sterile Processing operations at University Hospital to include expanding the department and hospital, human resources operations, and budgeting.
  • Work as an integral team member with Surgical Services, Infection Control, Risk Management and Safety departments.
  • Responsible for operating a highly complex department, functioning under the scrutiny of medical professionals, regulatory bodies and Federal and State laws.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Operations or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5 years of progressively responsible lead work, supervisory, or management experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Services Required
  • 7 years of experience managing a Sterile Processing department and/or materials/inventory management department Preferred
  • EPIC/Healthlink Experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Professional Sterile Processing Certification (CRCST or CSPDT) Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) certification Preferred
