Objective of Role:

LaSalle Debt Investors ("LDI") is seeking a highly-motivated applicant to join our Loan Origination's, Underwriting and Asset Management Team in its Denver, Colorado office. Our primary focus is on originating bridge loans for value-add and transitional properties in sustainable growth markets throughout the United States.

An Analyst position offers an opportunity to excel in a fast paced, collegial environment while gaining an understanding of commercial real estate finance and the skills necessary for a long-term career in real estate investment. Our goal is to help our Analysts advance by providing them with significant responsibility and diverse experiences.

The successful candidate will join a team responsible for the financial underwriting, assisting in loan closings, and asset management of commercial real estate bridge loans ranging from $5 million to over $50 million.

Accountabilities:
Investment due diligence and market research
Creation and delivery of investment committee presentations
Financial reporting and the creation of reports for senior management, partners, investors, and rating agencies (including S&P and Moody's)
Asset management and loan payoffs
Perform complex financial analyses, including Excel-based underwriting pro-formas, cash flow projections and sensitivity analyses
Perform detailed quarterly financial statement analysis, review of rent rolls, current and future cash flow and forecasting of cash flows through Argus
Review and analyze potential leases and their financial impact on an investment
Provide analytical support to colleagues in the areas of fund operations
Gather and evaluate economic and market data
Assist with client reporting and presentation preparation, including the presentation of investment memoranda to the firm's Investment Committee

Qualifications
BA/BS degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or economics or related field with strong record of academic achievement
Prior internship experience or minimal full-time relevant experience preferred.
Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the firm and leading real estate owners throughout the country
Ability to attend investment committee presentations and travel to client meetings, conferences and property tours throughout the United States
Proficiency in the Office suite, particularly Excel
Exceptional analytical and communication skills, leadership traits, diligence, and the willingness and capability to function efficiently under significant deadline pressure are essential.
Strong financial and analytical ability with solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approach
