POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Banking Analyst focuses on the development, implementation, and optimization of digital banking initiatives. Collaborates with business units to enhance the digital banking experience for Webster Five customers. Monitors digital banking platforms and processes to ensure optimal performance and usability. Works independently under the supervision of the Business Application Manager

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors digital banking platforms and processes to ensure optimal performance and usability. Manages the upgrade/release calendar for all digital platforms.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to promote digital banking initiatives, support successful completion of digital banking projects and increase customer adoption and engagement.
  • Analyzes customer data and usage patterns to identify opportunities for enhancing digital banking products and services. Ensures integrity of data used in extracted reports and ad-hoc requests.
  • Interprets digital banking data, analyzes results, and provides ongoing reports to stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital banking initiatives.
  • Contributes to the creation of user documentation for digital banking platforms.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing (UAT) and QA activities for digital banking projects.
  • Conducts market research on emerging digital banking trends, technologies, and competitors providing recommendations to continually enhance the user experience of Webster Five's digital banking platforms.
  • Maintains current and comprehensive knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to digital banking operations.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. Familiarity with digital banking platforms, mobile applications, and online payment systems. Sound project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally performed in an office environment, with frequent interruptions. Must be able to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, move inside the workplace and exchange information. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in accordance with Webster Five's Remote Work Policy.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Business, Statistics or related discipline.

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 3 years' experience in digital banking or a similar role in financial services.
