National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) is dedicated to hiring and supporting outstanding and passionate staff to meet our mission. We are growing because education and community leaders see the transformative results our programs achieve in schools across the country.

In addition to our full-time staff, NMSI works with hundreds of education consultants from across the country. Those content experts, many of whom continue to teach their own classes, help deliver our programs and support fellow teachers.

We regularly benchmark our compensation and benefits packages to be sure we remain competitive in the market. We also take care of our staff by offering generous paid time off, including a week-long break around the winter holidays.



We pay 90 percent of the premium for employee-only medical and vision coverage and supplement a portion for spouses and children. We also offer flexible spending accounts for health or dependent care.

Our compensation package includes competitive salaries and a 401(k) retirement plan, with up to a 6 percent employer match.
