Our company is headquartered in San Diego, California, where it was founded in 1953. However, our small but mighty tribe of less than 600 members live and work in 15 countries, speak more than 7 languages and are located in many different time zones. We live under the kitchen sinks, in the garages and toolboxes of the world and have loyal end-users and dedicated fans in more than 176 countries and territories worldwide who rely on our portfolio of well-known and popular brands to solve their everyday problems.

Our mission is to deliver unique, high-value and easy to use solutions for a wide variety of maintenance needs in workshops, factories, and homes. We market and distribute our brands across multiple trade channels in countries all over the world.

Why do we call ourselves a tribe?
At WD-40 Company, we call our employees tribe members. We define tribe as a group of people who come together to protect and feed each other. As individuals, and as an organization, we aspire to live up to the behaviors of a tribe. For us, a self-sustaining and interdependent tribe share common attributes such as values, knowledge, celebration, ceremony and a strong sense of belonging. Each tribe member is recognized for their specialized skills and their contributions to benefit the greater good of the tribe.
